Welcome to Swahili Tour. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website, services, and bookings. By engaging with Swahili Tour, you agree to abide by the following terms, which are designed to protect both our clients and our agency.
1. Scope of Services
Swahili Tour provides safari packages, cultural tours, beach holidays, and related travel services in Tanzania. All services are subject to availability, seasonal conditions, and operational feasibility.
2. Booking Process
- Bookings must be made through our website, email, or authorized representatives.
- A booking is considered valid only after receipt of a deposit or full payment.
- Clients will receive a written confirmation including itinerary, inclusions, and exclusions.
- Any special requests (dietary needs, medical conditions, or custom itineraries) must be communicated in advance.
3. Payments
- Deposits are required to secure reservations (typically 30โ50% of the total cost).
- Full payment must be completed prior to the commencement of the tour.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods.
- All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated. Currency fluctuations may affect final costs.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
- Client Cancellation:
- More than 60 days before departure: full refund minus administrative fees.
- 30โ59 days before departure: 50% refund.
- Less than 30 days before departure: no refund.
- Agency Cancellation:
- If Swahili Tour cancels due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
- Refunds are processed within 14 business days.
5. Travel Documents & Insurance
- Clients are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, and vaccinations.
- Swahili Tour strongly recommends comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and lost luggage.
- Failure to obtain required documents may result in denied travel without refund.
6. Responsibilities of Swahili Tour
- Deliver services as outlined in the confirmed itinerary.
- Partner with trusted hotels, lodges, airlines, and transport providers.
- Ensure safety and professionalism in all arrangements.
- Protect client data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. Responsibilities of Clients
- Provide accurate personal and travel information.
- Comply with local laws, customs, and park regulations.
- Respect wildlife, guides, and fellow travelers.
- Arrive on time for scheduled tours and transfers.
- Accept that safaris involve risks inherent to wildlife and outdoor activities.
8. Changes to Itinerary
- Swahili Tour reserves the right to adjust itineraries due to weather, safety, or operational reasons.
- Equivalent alternatives will be provided where possible.
- Clients will be informed promptly of any significant changes.
9. Liability Disclaimer
- Swahili Tour is not liable for personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to property during tours, except where caused by proven negligence.
- Participation in safaris and activities is at the clientโs own risk.
- We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by airlines, government regulations, or natural events.
10. Force Majeure
Swahili Tour shall not be held responsible for failure to deliver services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, pandemics, or government restrictions.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Swahili Tour and may not be reproduced without permission.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in Tanzanian courts.
