Game viewing in the Serengeti is possible any time of the year, but January to March are excellent times, and July to November, when the herds are crossing the Mara river.

Most Serengeti safaris require only low to moderate fitness, as they’re primarily done in 4x4 vehicles with occasional short walks around lodges or during cultural visits.
